My boating experience started in 1956 sailing with my family on Lake Michigan. Since then my sea-time has taken me from Maine to Mexico, from Alaska to L.A., and to Hawaii. I've been close to the yachting industry since childhood, when my family owned a charter company on the Gulf Coast of Florida. At 15 years old, my first job was in a boatyard, and out of college I worked as a sailmaker. My first position as skipper was at age 19 out of Marblehead, and I've held my 100 ton Coast Guard license for over 20 years. I've worked in the Pacific Northwest since 1980 as a charter and delivery skipper; a sailing, power boating and navigation instructor; a charter fleet manager for 10 years; and a yacht salesman since 1994. This very broad background helps me speak from experience, and gives me an advantage over a lot of my competition. Being on the water has been one of life's best adventures for me, and helping people get there has been truly rewarding.

Yachts are famously expensive, and buying one is well worth careful consideration. With my experience, resources and principles, I would like to help you with your decisions, to earn your business and be your yacht broker.
